| | | | | All too often it's the doctor who gets all the information about the patient and the patient gets little information about the doctor and her practice. I would like to change that.
My full name is Christine Alaine Meshew and I was born in Enid, Oklahoma. I am an avid animal lover and have 2 cats (Fluff and Franci), 2 goats (Bert and Ernie), 6 chickens and a rooster. In my spare time I love to garden, water color, cook, bike, hike and ski. I went to chiropractic college at Palmer located in Davenport, Iowa, and graduated in September of 1978. After graduation I interned with two different chiropractic clinics in the Portland area, which I focused on muscle realignment, colonics, nutritional support, and massage therapy. I currently specialize in craniopathy, neuron-emotional and sacro-occiptial techniques and received my certification in pediatrics, Spring of 2000.
Originally, I was studying and practicing massage at the Y.M.C.A. in Arizona for three years. I began seeing a chiropractor and referring clients to him. I felt that I could do a lot more for humanity besides massage and chose chiropractic so that I could continue working with my hands. After ten years of practicing chiropractic in Seattle, I decided to enhance my approach to healing with acupuncture. I graduated form NIAOM (Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) in 1991 while continuing with my chiropractic practice. Ive chosen to devote my life to the healing arts because I believe that as health practitioner I can be in service to every person through a holistic approach. This assists the patient in realizing that they can heal themselves from within. I am grateful I did so because the greatest gratification of my work comes from patients feeling better-both physically and emotionally.
I believe with all my heart in the principle of chiropractic acupuncture which is, to restore the nervous system by realigning the spine and cranium in a gentle but powerful way that crates balance and harmony with the patients health on all levels: physically, mentally, and emotionally. I believe strongly in how I practice and always strive to improve it and believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee. I want to help people. I want you to refer and to continue to refer patients to me because Im here to serve you like a loyal friend, striving to do better, learn more, and listen to all of your needs and desires.
The reason I established this clinic in this particular community is because I am easily accessible, there is plenty of parking, and it is centrally located to a wide variety of people. The whole purpose of this clinic is to approach healing the body from an entirely holistic level, utilizing nutritional, herbal, exercise, spinal and cranial alignment, acupuncture, and massage therapies. What seems to make this practice unique is that we heal the patient form whatever approach their body would benefit from the most. Our clinic mission is to bring health and well being on an expanded scale through the variety of treatments we offer. My personal promise to you is to be a good listener and to be your professional friend.
Sincerely,
Dr. Christine A. Meshew
