| What our clients have to say about working with us. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a regular client, but asked for special attention for what had become chronic snoring. I was treated by both acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments. We have seen, as confirmed by my wife, considerable improvement. I do not wake myself or cause my wife to wake me due to loud snoring. It has resulted in a more rested feeling in the mornings. The early acupuncture treatments provided almost immediate relief and since then if the problem seems to be coming back, the chiropractic adjustments have just fixed it. ED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before I saw Dr. Meshew, I was suffering with asthma and chronic sinusitis so severe that I was very dependent upon an inhalant in order to breathe normally. After several months, I began to find myself standing up taller, breathing deeper and not needing an inhalant so frequently. I can even exercise without the fear of contracting “exercise asthma.” Now my daughter and I both come in for care on a regular basis. My daughter has similar breathing problems as well as TMJ problems. Because my daughter is young and constantly changing and growing she is needing fairly regular visits to monitor her cranium. While her teeth change and erupt naturally she is needing to be under the care of a Pediatric Orthodontist along with Dr Meshew. My hope and expectation is for her to not need braces. Because Dr. Meshew is a “Certified Craniopath and Pediatric Chiropractor” I feel very confident that she is the best person to maintain good health for my daughter and I. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been to a lot of other Chiropractors, but Dr. Meshew has by far out-matched them all. I have been in two auto accidents. After the first auto accident, I went to a different Chiropractor unfortunately. This doctor didn’t take time to X-Ray and thoroughly examine me. I felt that he didn’t listen to me whenever I came in to see him either. I was whisked in and out of the treatment room so fast, that I don’t think the Chiropractor even knew who I was and what type of case I was. When I was referred to Dr. Meshew’s office, I felt that I was genuinely being treated professionally with plenty of time and thought given to my individual needs. I was X-Rayed, thoroughly examined and came back later for a report and my first adjustment. I never experienced such a thorough treatment. When I got up off the treatment table, I definitely felt like I had been taken care of. Now I come in for monthly maintenance visits to keep an eye on my neck and back. I bring in my children also now and want my entire family to be under her care. I would highly recommend Dr. Meshew over anyone else as a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I came to see Dr Meshew due to a work-related shoulder injury. The results from the care were both immediate and long-term. I regained color in my hand and soon regained most of the loss of movement. The pain was so intense that I was unable to drive to my appointments. My Aunt had to drive while I stretched out, as much as possible, in the back seat. I was unable to sit up or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. My first visit was on April 27th and by mid-June I was able to drive to my appointments by myself. BH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had read about the use of acupuncture to alleviate asthmatic problems and lower back pain. The care I received was thoughtful and comprehensive and administered in a careful and efficient manner. For both conditions, I could determine a relief in the symptoms after the first few treatments. For the asthmatic condition, I have been able to go for several weeks without the use of an inhaler or bronchial dilator. For the chronic lower back problem, the chiropractic adjustments combined with daily exercises have almost eliminated the pain. I had been suffering from this shoulder pain for over one and a half years from an injury. I had not been able to lift my left arm above shoulder level all that time. When I found out that I had a hyperthyroid condition, which my endocrinologist wanted to treat with radiation and/or drugs, I thought I’d come to “Kwan Yin’s” Clinic. On my first visit, I felt immediate results. I had energy return to me, which I had lacked for over a year. Slowly, but surely I begin to notice that the goiter in my throat was decreasing and the symptoms of hyper thyroids were going away. Today, I feel totally healed. And to think – through “traditional” medicine I may have lost my thyroid. Dr. Meshew, I am eternally grateful. I am very satisfied with the results I have received from my Chiropractor. Dr Meshew has been treating me for less than two weeks now and I wouldn’t have guessed that the relatively few adjustments she’s given me would have alleviated as much pain as they have. MM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chronic asthma and allergies, as well as hip pain brought me to Optimum Acupuncture and Chiropractic Clinic. I have had asthma for eight years and allergies for the same. Mostly cats and feathers. Exercise was also difficult due to asthma attacks after heavy workouts. I felt low energy, ate poorly –a general blah feeling. I had hip pain due to an arthritic condition, which prevented me from exercising. I would also wake up in the night because my hip would throb with pain. I have had six acupuncture treatments at the writing of this letter. I feel a noticeable change in my breathing. After heavy exercise I now do not have severe asthma attacks like before. They are less in severity and frequency. My recovery time is also much shorter – ten minutes. Before my treatments I found it very difficult to breathe for as much as thirty minutes. I can now also tolerate being in the same room with cats, which I am allergic to. My resistance is greater. My hip pain has been alleviated 50-60% due to a heel lift and chiropractic adjustments. I am feeling more flexible too. My eating has improved 90% and I feel more energetic. I also use my inhaler 75% less than before. MD -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My daughter felt I would benefit from seeing an Acupuncturist due to the pain I suffer from following knee surgeries and development of rheumatoid and osteo arthritis. I felt gradual improvement during the period of treatments and the pain in my knee and legs was greatly reduced. My arthritis was somewhat improved. But soon afterwards, I injured myself on the job while lifting and bending. After one and a half weeks of regular adjustments, my back began to relax and feel better than it had before! Not only is it painful, but also emotionally I have trouble interacting with people while I’m under stress. Since I have been under acupuncture care, I am much less apprehensive about my periods. Even though we use industrial support belts and are taught proper body mechanics, I couldn’t do my work effectively without the ongoing healing care for my low back that Dr Christine Meshew does for me.
